And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckay throws a right hand that misses
and Thug counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Thug looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thug stands up from Mckay's guard - Thug perhaps looking for a knockout.
Thug uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mckay.
Thug pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mckay has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Thug scores with a hook.
Thug scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Thug slips a straight right by Mckay.
Mckay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thug swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thug blocks a jab.
Mckay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thug drives through and clinches with Mckay against the cage.
Mckay wants a takedown but no success here.
Mckay drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thug pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thug clobbers Mckay with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mckay works over Thug's head and body with a nice combination.
Thug scores with a punch to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thug cracks Mckay with an uppercut from hell and Mckay crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Thug's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Mckay is rocked!
Thug wants to stand but Mckay is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mckay is still in real trouble! Can Thug finish him?
Thug has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Thug gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Mckay seems to have recovered his senses.

Mckay tries to stall but Thug uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mckay pulls guard successfully.
Thug tries to free his leg and advance position but Mckay is retaining full guard.
Thug gets to his feet. Mckay looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mckay lands with a cross.
Mckay doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thug displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mckay throws out the jab.

and Thug counters with a stiff right hand.
Mckay misses with a lunging right hand
and Thug counters with a huge left! Mckay is in big trouble! He's backing up but Thug isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mckay from any more damage. A dominating finish by Thug!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andy Thug!

In defeat, Krystof Mckay stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fuck me eh? I'll be back'.
