Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by rage against the machine,,cypress hill how i just kill a man. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo throws the left hand but De Silva avoids the punch easily.
De Silva throws a jab but it's blocked by Ricardo.
Ricardo misses with a jab, cross combination.
De Silva bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
De Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ricardo.
De Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ricardo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
De Silva moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A combination from Ricardo does no damage.
De Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ricardo circles away quickly and effectively.
Ricardo staying out of range there.
De Silva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ricardo ducks under a wild hook from De Silva.
De Silva throws a shot to the body.

A slow jab from De Silva misses its intended target.
Junior De Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ricardo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Good leg kick by Ricardo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
De Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ricardo.

De Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ricardo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and De Silva has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from De Silva and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Ricardo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ricardo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ricardo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ricardo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling De Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
De Silva looks to land a right hand but Ricardo moved out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Ricardo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ricardo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Ricardo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

De Silva moves into range and clinches up with Ricardo.
De Silva lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ricardo wants a takedown but no success here.
Ricardo's coach down at DUDES GYM...inc..CBK was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ricardo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Ricardo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. De Silva gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Junior De Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Ricardo.
De Silva lands a right hand.
De Silva effectively controlling the action here.

Ricardo wants to get back to striking at distance but De Silva won't allow it.
De Silva doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
De Silva struggles to land a body shot inside as Ricardo controls his hands.
De Silva digs a right hand into Ricardo's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ricardo's gas tank.
De Silva stops a takedown attempt from Ricardo.
Ricardo has De Silva pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. De Silva manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Ricardo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. De Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
De Silva prevents Ricardo from breaking the clinch.
Ricardo swings wildly with an uppercut but De Silva uses good head movement to avoid it.

De Silva gets underhooks to prevent Ricardo's takedown attempt.

Ricardo has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by De Silva after a bit of a struggle.
De Silva is pressed up against the cage. Ricardo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag De Silva down to the mat. De Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ricardo looks winded!
De Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
De Silva is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
De Silva thuds his right hand into Ricardo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Junior De Silva was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
