Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into the arena with Professor Green - Monster blaring out of the sound system. Ryan has chosen Freestyler as his entrance music. Michael Jones could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brad Ryan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan fails with a takedown attempt.

Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Ryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ryan darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Ryan into the cage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brad Ryan hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
