Sloppy strikes from Thompson. Those never looked like landing.
Thompson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sorensson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sorensson has Thompson up against the cage in a clinch.
Sorensson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Thompson backwards.

Sorensson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sorensson darts in and clinches Thompson up against the cage.

Sorensson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice takedown defense from Sorensson. No joy for Thompson on that attempt.

Sorensson lands a left and a right that send Thompson crashing to the mat, dazed. Sorensson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Thompson is rocked!

It looks like Pete Thompson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sorensson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thompson is still on wobbly legs! Can Sorensson finish him?
Thompson backs away from a small jab... but Sorensson lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Thompson crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Sorensson with a spectacular finish!
