Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Bloom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Doby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doby is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by International Players Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Orlando Bloom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Doby!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Doby.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bloom looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bloom gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Doby to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bloom had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doby defends it easily.
Bloom wants to stand up but Doby is controlling him.
Doby stays in close to Bloom's body and controls the position.
Doby postures up in Bloom's guard and throws a big left but Bloom blocks it.

You can see the frustration on Bloom's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bloom knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Doby on the ground.
Let's hope that Doby has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Doby is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bloom is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Doby is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bloom knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Doby has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Doby misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Doby looks up at the clock and then as Bloom takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Doby smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bloom takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Doby lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bloom down.

Bloom sneaks back into half guard.
Doby seems to be looking for submissions.
Bloom is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Doby wants to pass the guard but Bloom is defending well.

Doby is just content to waste time from the top position. Bloom takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Doby stands and throws Bloom's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Doby works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Doby tries to score with some ground and pound. Bloom controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bloom is trying to escape the position but Doby is controlling the position.
Doby goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bloom rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Doby's guard! Nice work there by Bloom!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Doby walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bloom.
Bloom is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bloom wants to clinch.
Doby takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Doby goes for a double leg but Bloom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bloom continues to drive forward.
Bloom turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bloom manages to end up in side control.

Bloom wants to stand but Doby has his arm trapped.
Shane Doby has got the better of the ground game so far.
Doby manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Bloom wants to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doby is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bloom's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bloom's back!

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Doby.

Well, with Doby on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Bloom is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Doby is not going to allow Bloom to sit and survive in this position.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Shane Doby!
A relieved looking Shane Doby thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
