Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby TupperII! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TupperII clinches up against the cage. TupperII goes for a takedown attempt but Jackson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
TupperII stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and TupperII wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? TupperII is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, TupperII circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson fails with the takedown and TupperII counters by moving into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short left from TupperII. Jackson working hard to break the clinch. Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson tries for a takedown but TupperII sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A head kick by Jackson misses and TupperII moves into the clinch. TupperII lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jackson or not. TupperII tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

TupperII wants the takedown. Jackson is fighting it off but TupperII persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Jackson's guard against the cage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as TupperII accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. TupperII is aware though and is defending well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! TupperII wants to stand but Jackson is controlling his posture from full guard. TupperII trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Jackson is working an open guard so TupperII takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Jackson scores with a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson shoots in and drives through. TupperII sprawls well. Jackson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between TupperII's hands. TupperII throws a head kick but Jackson moves out of range.
TupperII dives in and scores a takedown into Jackson's guard. TupperII missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and TupperII defends well. My spies in *Nelson Fight Camp* 17 coaches inform me that TupperII has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. TupperII is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jackson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jackson has escaped and now he's on top! We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Jackson lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

TupperII has Jackson pressed against the cage, preventing Jackson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. TupperII with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jackson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. TupperII smiles and moves away.

That's one minute gone in the round. TupperII shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. TupperII tries to get back to half guard but can't. TupperII is still trying to improve position. TupperII taking a bit of punishment here - Jackson scoring with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TupperII is looking to reverse the position. TupperII tries to escape but Jackson is in control. Jackson working the head with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. TupperII is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Jackson off and has taken his back! Jackson can't escape the position.
TupperII doesn't have the hooks in and Jackson manages to turn into his guard.

Jackson wriggles free and stands up. Jackson doesn't manage to clinch there - TupperII circles away.

TupperII wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. TupperII is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. TupperII wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! TupperII thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. TupperII thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head. Jackson manages to escape and get back to his feet! Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Shane Jackson will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Jackson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. TupperII tries to roll over but Jackson keeps him under control. TupperII is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round. TupperII lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jackson! TupperII lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jackson hang on? TupperII goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jackson turns into him and now he's in TupperII's guard.

TupperII takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jackson wants to pass the guard but TupperII is keeping the position. Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. TupperII clinches. TupperII throws an elbow but it's blocked.

TupperII fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Shane Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby TupperII. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. TupperII is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bobby TupperII. I think TupperII has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
