Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sailor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irvin Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Welch has chosen Iggy Pop - Lust for life as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to clinch up
and Welch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Welch loads up on a big right hand but Gracie slips the punch.
Welch forces Gracie back against the cage and clinches.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Welch won't allow it.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Welch working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Welch avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sailor Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Welch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Gracie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Welch to keep the fight standing.
Welch prevents the takedown attempt.
Gracie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Welch smiles and moves away.
Welch swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.

Welch has managed to clinch.
Welch lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Gracie is looking to take this one to the mat.

Welch lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.

It looks like Sailor Gracie has been cut.

Welch lands a big right hand that drops Gracie! The killer instinct kicks in and Welch finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Welch!
