Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dawid Paluch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanzo Hazay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hazay has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazay takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Paluch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hazay on his heels. He'll look to pass Hazay's guard now, I'm sure.

Paluch cracks Hazay with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Paluch lands a big shot there that rocks Hazay but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Paluch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hazay throws a right and a left that both miss.

Paluch shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Paluch was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
