Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kweku Nsia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kweku Nsia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Anderson! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson misses with a head kick.
Nsia feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, Nsia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Anderson is trying to keep Nsia in close.
Anderson throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Nsia advances to half guard. Nsia seems to be working for a kimura but Anderson defends the submission attempt. Nsia prevents Anderson from improving his position. Nsia wants to pass the guard but Anderson is defending well. Nsia sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Anderson defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nsia is trying to control the action in half guard but Anderson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Anderson trying to hold on to Nsia's head to control him but Nsia postures up.
Anderson gets full guard. Nsia gets to his feet. Anderson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A solid leg kick lands there for Anderson.
Nsia clinches up with Anderson and pushes him back against the cage. Nsia has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Anderson regains guard immediately. Nsia wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Nsia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Anderson on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nsia working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nsia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anderson wants to sweep here but Nsia controlling him for the moment. Anderson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nsia controls the pace. Nsia postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Anderson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nsia, into his guard. Anderson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nsia's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nsia trying to keep a closed guard but Anderson is proving a slippery customer.
Nsia is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Nsia throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Nsia wants to improve his position but instead Anderson has moved into half guard.
Anderson is keen to just control but Nsia is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nsia's head. Anderson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Anderson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nsia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Nsia keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Nsia is trying to get back to full guard. Anderson tries to stand but his arm is trapped. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Nsia is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Nsia is looking for a sweep. Anderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kweku Nsia dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Anderson is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Nsia ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nsia no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Anderson throws a big right hand that misses. Nsia utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nsia keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Anderson won't allow Nsia to sweep him here. Nsia lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Anderson! The referee warns Anderson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Anderson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Anderson. Anderson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nsia is one step ahead there. Anderson keeps trying to improve his position. Nsia has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nsia throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Anderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Nsia tries to free his leg and advance position but Anderson is retaining full guard. Nsia distracts Anderson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Nsia wants to stand but Anderson is controlling his posture from full guard. Nsia wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson being controlled here, momentarily. Anderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nsia trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nsia passes Anderson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Nsia is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nsia with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Anderson is refusing to be controlled, as Nsia sits in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nsia wants to get back to his feet.
Nsia is working for a kimura but Anderson is defending it quite comfortably.
Kweku Nsia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Anderson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Anderson striking off his back but it's not causing Nsia any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kweku Nsia will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nsia paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nsia shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Anderson is defending against the submission attempts here by Nsia.
Anderson wants to control but Nsia is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nsia is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Anderson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nsia. Anderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nsia is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nsia is taking a breather. Anderson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Nsia is keen to just control but Anderson is a slippery customer. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Nsia not landing any meaningful shots this time. Nsia wants to control but Anderson is keeping him busy.
Kweku Nsia has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Nsia clinches with his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nsia jumps guard and drags Anderson to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Anderson wants to control from the top but Nsia keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Nsia is retaining full guard. Nsia keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Nsia is controlling Anderson's posture. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nsia swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Alex Anderson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Nsia closes the distance and pushes Anderson back into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nsia lands a takedown into guard.
Nsia makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Anderson pulls Nsia in to control the position. Nsia looking to pass the guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nsia trying to control the position from guard on top but Anderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anderson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nsia's guard. Anderson trying to control but Nsia is working from the bottom. Nsia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nsia looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nsia wants to control but Anderson passes easily into half guard.
Anderson passes to full mount! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Anderson wants to control the pace but Nsia is squirming around nicely. Alex Anderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kweku Nsia is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson thowing shots but they're missing.
And that's the end of the fight! Kweku Nsia showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nsia has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
