Victorio comes into the arena with Massive Attack - Angel blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victorio just misses with a punch to the body.

Victorio moves in looking to clinch but Thunder pushes him off.
Victorio uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Thunder.

Jonny Victorio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Thunder throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Victorio on the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Jonny Victorio will probably get the nod.

Victorio dives in and grabs Thunder's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thunder pushes down on Victorio's head and hops out.
Thunder moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Victorio drops back, looking for a kneebar! Thunder looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Thunder looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Thunder!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Victorio throws a chopping leg kick but Thunder manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Victorio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thunder manages to avoid it.

Victorio is looking to work some ground and pound but Thunder has wrist control.
Victorio throws a strike but Thunder rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Denton Thunder hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Thunder does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Victorio counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thunder's guard now.

Victorio is fighting to break Thunder's control of his arms but Thunder is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thunder has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Victorio is proving hard to escape from.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jonny Victorio.
I think Victorio has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jonny Victorio decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
