Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Tunjic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tunjic kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is More then a Feeling. Zhuo has chosen Kung Fu You as his entrance music. Ivan Tunjic could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zhao Zhuo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Tunjic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zhao Zhuo!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tunjic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tunjic there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tunjic moves into the clinch.
Tunjic works on Zhuo's body with a couple of short punches.
Tunjic misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Zhuo manages to break the clinch.
Zhuo shoots in looking for a takedown but Tunjic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zhuo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tunjic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tunjic moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tunjic is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Sanitarium, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Ivan Tunjic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zhao Zhuo.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Zhuo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tunjic defends well and Zhuo ends up having to push Tunjic into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tunjic throws a front kick aimed at Zhuo's knee but Zhuo avoids it well.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zhuo, as that shot connected.

Tunjic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Zhuo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tunjic somewhat.
Zhuo throws a hook but Tunjic blocks it.
Tunjic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zhuo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ivan Tunjic is winning the standup battle so far.
Tunjic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zhuo doesn't seem bothered though.

and Tunjic counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Zhuo thinking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tunjic.

Tunjic has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Zhuo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Tunjic regains full guard. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zhuo content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Tunjic has locked up a guillotine! Tunjic's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Zhuo is holding on here and Tunjic must be using up a lot of energy. Zhuo has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Tunjic gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
