Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kweku Nsia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Pyne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kweku Nsia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aaron Pyne! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Nsia as Pyne shoots in. Pyne looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pyne fails in his attempt to clinch. Pyne is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pyne bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nsia's head backwards. Pyne shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nsia as he jumps to the side. Kweku Nsia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Pyne. Nsia manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pyne on his heels. He'll look to pass Pyne's guard now, I'm sure. Nsia wants to control from the top but Pyne keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nsia is really struggling to control Pyne but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kweku Nsia wasn't doing enough on the ground. Nsia closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Nsia is stalling here. Pyne is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nsia seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pyne has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. You can see the frustration on Nsia's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Pyne is staying tight to Nsia's torso, preventing him from escaping. Nsia is trying to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nsia is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nsia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pyne is working away from the top position though. Nsia tries to get to full guard but Pyne has control of the leg. Pyne stands up from half guard. Nsia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pyne as he avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pyne gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nsia tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pyne just stands there and leans against the cage. Nsia pulls guard effortlessly. Nsia doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pyne in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nsia is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nsia is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pyne gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Nsia gets a clinch. Pyne is trying to pull guard but Nsia turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Pyne jumps guard but Nsia turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Nsia tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nsia drags the fight down to the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pyne trying to control but Nsia is working from the bottom. Pyne drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pyne jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pyne wants to control from the top but Nsia keeps moving. Nsia has control of Pyne's left arm, preventing Pyne from doing any damage. Nsia not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nsia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pyne throwing strikes from guard but Nsia blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kweku Nsia dominated that round. That's time! Nsia's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Nsia slaps away a takedown attempt from Pyne, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nsia moves into range and clinches up with Pyne. Nsia breaks the clinch.
Pyne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nsia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pyne. Nsia stuffs the takedown attempt from Pyne. Pyne gets slowly back to his feet. Kweku Nsia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Pyne. Pyne shoots and misses and Nsia counters by moving into the clinch. Pyne tries to pull guard but Nsia won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pyne has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nsia is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Pyne is breathing heavily. Pyne is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nsia is defending well for now. Pyne tries to score a body lock takedown but Nsia shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Nsia breaks from the clinch.
Nsia gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nsia escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nsia throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pyne tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nsia is in Pyne's guard. Nsia tries to free his leg and advance position but Pyne is retaining full guard. Nsia content to stall in guard here. Nsia has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nsia trying to control but Pyne is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kweku Nsia wasn't doing enough on the ground. Nsia moves in looking to clinch but Pyne pushes him off. Kweku Nsia is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nsia avoids the head kick by Pyne.
Nsia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pyne.
Nice takedown defense from Pyne. No joy for Nsia on that attempt. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nsia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pyne napping and manages to drive through into side control! Pyne is not content to let Nsia control the position. Pyne is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nsia looking to control but instead Pyne has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Pyne avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nsia. Nsia trying to pass the guard but Pyne defending well. Nsia is looking to take a break and control but Pyne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nsia tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pyne knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Pyne tries to get to full guard but Nsia has control of the leg. Pyne gets full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nsia wants to control from the top but Pyne keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kweku Nsia dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Nsia wants to clinch up but Pyne keeps it at a distance. Nsia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pyne avoids it really well and circles away. Pyne gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Nsia jumps guard and drags Pyne to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Nsia is trying to control the position but Pyne postures up. Nsia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nsia is looking for a triangle here but Pyne uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Kweku Nsia overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nsia trying to remain calm as Pyne controls from the top position. Pyne stands up and we're back to a striking position. Pyne keeps the fight on the outside. Nsia defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pyne. Nsia tries to clinch there but Pyne circles away.
Nsia stuffs the takedown attempt from Pyne. Pyne gets slowly back to his feet. Pyne takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nsia fails to land the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pyne fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nsia avoids it really well and circles away. Kweku Nsia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aaron Pyne. Nsia is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pyne's half guard. Pyne is staying active underneath Nsia, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Pyne trying to control but Nsia postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pyne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nsia is working away from the top position though. Nsia seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nsia in particular looking to stall. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nsia defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pyne. Nsia has a takedown stuffed. Pyne fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nsia.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pyne bucks up and tries to throw Nsia off but instead Nsia has got his back! Pyne tries to escape but Nsia has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
And that's the end of the fight! Kweku Nsia showed his dominance in that final round. Well Nsia has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
