Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matti Virtanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fritz Haarmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haarmann has chosen Macabre - Fritz Haarmann The Butcher as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Virtanen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Haarmann tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Virtanen is in Haarmann's guard.

Virtanen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Haarmann avoids it really well and circles away.
Virtanen shoots in looking for a takedown but Haarmann manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Virtanen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Virtanen is defended easily by Haarmann.

Virtanen is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Virtanen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Haarmann for as long as he can get away with.

Haarmann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Virtanen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Virtanen goes for a double leg but Haarmann avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Haarmann continues to drive forward.

Virtanen is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Haarmann can't fight it off and eventually Virtanen manages to take the fight to the floor. Haarmann looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Virtanen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Haarmann to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Virtanen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Haarmann pulls down on the head and he's put Virtanen to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Fritz Haarmann!
A relieved looking Fritz Haarmann thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
