Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Donelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donelly comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jump Around kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randy Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Donelly!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donelly lands a right hook to the body.
Donelly takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Marsh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Donelly lands with a good body shot.
Donelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marsh moves away.

Marsh shoots in but no luck this time.
Donelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Donelly goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Donelly buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Marsh looking to score a takedown here. Donelly is defending well but Marsh drives through and ends up in Donelly's guard.

Marsh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Marsh closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marsh lands in his opponent's guard.

Marsh goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Donelly has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Marsh but great work by Donelly.

Marsh looks to score with a jab to the body but Donelly is just out of range.
Marsh throws a hook but Donelly blocks it.
Marsh connects with a right hand. Donelly shakes it off.
Marsh connects with a body shot that sends Donelly's belly button to the back.
Nice straight punches there by Marsh. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Marsh.

Marsh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Marsh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Donelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Marsh is just out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close second round but I would say that Randy Marsh will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Donelly is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that's the end of the fight!
Randy Marsh showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Marsh, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
