Halo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I am a Nightmare Walking. Gabriel Halo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Halo misses with a double jab
and Rios counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Halo thinking.
Good work by Rios as he checks the leg kick.
Halo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Halo throws a leg kick but Rios checks it.

Rios takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Halo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Rios throws a looping overhand right but Halo ducks down to avoid it.

Halo throws the left hand but Rios avoids the punch easily.
Rios throws a series of strikes that have Halo backpedaling.
Halo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rios was well out of range. Poor timing from Halo.
Halo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Halo scores with the left hand. Rios knows he should have avoided that one.

Rios looks to land a combination but Halo avoids it well.
Rios closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Rios drops his hands momentarily and Halo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Halo tries to bum rush Rios with a series of wild strikes but Rios uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Halo circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rios looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Halo counters with a stiff right hand.

Rios throws a right and a left that Halo avoids nicely.
Rios connects with a solid leg kick.
Halo throws out a leg kick but Rios moves out of range and Halo only half commits.
Rios tries to clinch there but Halo circles away.
Halo moves away from the strike by Rios.
Halo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rios moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rios throws a front kick aimed at Halo's knee but Halo avoids it well.

Halo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rios sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Halo thumps Rios with a low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Halo punishes Rios's body with a nice straight punch.
Halo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rios tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Halo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rios thumps Halo with a low kick.
Halo slips under a jab.
Halo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rios at a distance.
Halo dips to his left and cracks Rios with an uppercut!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rios.
Rios throws a chopping leg kick but Halo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Halo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rios is still on wobbly legs! Can Halo finish him?
Halo weaves into range and cracks Rios right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Rios goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Halo is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
