Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gordon Ramsay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vincent Coll!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coll throws a lazy body kick

and Ramsay counters with a nice double leg into side control. Coll won't be happy with that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ramsay tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Coll tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Ramsay has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Coll's face.


It looks like Vincent Coll has been cut.
Ramsay avoids the attempt from Coll to control.
Ramsay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ramsay misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ramsay is landing with some decent strikes but Coll is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coll is looking to improve his position but Ramsay isn't that keen on the idea.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coll wants to control but Ramsay is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Coll tries to lock up and control but Ramsay gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ramsay prevents Coll from getting the reversal.
Coll suckers Ramsay into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Coll is now in Ramsay's guard!

Ramsay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coll can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Coll takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Coll tries to clinch but Ramsay moves out of range.

and Ramsay makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ramsay has been working on his balance at Bad Pluto!, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Coll.

Coll tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ramsay manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Ramsay has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Coll is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Ramsay sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Coll throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Coll pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Coll fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ramsay manages to avoid it.

Ramsay shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Coll napping and manages to drive through into side control!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vincent Coll showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Ramsay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Coll bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Coll ducks under a wild hook from Ramsay.
Coll tries to clinch up but Ramsay circles away and keeps his distance.
Coll keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Ramsay will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Coll up against the cage.

Coll is pressed up against the cage. Ramsay has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coll down to the mat. Coll avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Horrible takedown by Ramsay or perhaps it was just good defense by Coll which made him look bad.
