Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Helgi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Lamb of God - Descending. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bjorn Helgi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Helgi tenderised George's leg. George is trying to keep his angry face on. Helgi connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed George momentarily.
George fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Helgi sprawls well initially but George persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. George takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. George is looking to stall here but Helgi recovers full guard. George postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. George trying to control the position from guard on top but Helgi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Helgi looking for a sweep. Not yet Helgi, not yet. Helgi throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
George trying to control but Helgi is working from the bottom. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! George is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Helgi looking for a sweep. Not yet Helgi, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. George trying to control but Helgi is working from the bottom. Helgi tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Helgi is on top in guard.
Helgi wants to stand and escape but instead George has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. George stands up over Helgi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Helgi trying to control the position.
Helgi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as George accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. George trying to control the position from guard on top but Helgi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. George has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Jungle Elite MMA. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Helgi is trying to keep George in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George stops Helgi from standing up. George wants to control from the top but Helgi keeps moving. George might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Helgi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. George throwing strikes but missing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Helgi throws a head kick that misses. Helgi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Helgi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Helgi keeping full guard, as George tries to pass. Helgi keeping moving, preventing George from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Furious George. A looping hook to the body misses from George. Helgi does a little dance to reset his feet. George ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. George shoots in but Helgi avoids the takedown attempt easily. Good leg kick by Helgi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Helgi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Helgi throws a big shot that misses. George will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Helgi throws a body kick that misses. Bjorn Helgi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Helgi lands a big head kick that sends George tumbling to the mat! Helgi takes a step backwards and waves George back to his feet - he wants the finish!
George is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Helgi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
George is still on wobbly legs! Can Helgi finish him? George lands a glancing blow to the side of Helgi's head. George lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
George checks a leg kick nicely. Helgi stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Helgi wants it to stay on the feet. George seems to have recovered his senses. Helgi ducks under a wild hook from George. George takes one on the chin but seems OK.
George is trying hard to land a takedown here. Helgi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bjorn Helgi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furious George. George lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Helgi throws a head kick that misses. George misses the jab. Helgi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. George lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Helgi at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bjorn Helgi will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Helgi throws a nice inside leg kick. George tries for a takedown but Helgi circles away easily and Helgi counters with a thumping low kick. Helgi throws a quick inside leg kick. George takes one to the side of the head.

Furious George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. George changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Helgi tries to avoid it but George manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Helgi to the ground. Helgi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bjorn Helgi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furious George. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Helgi tries a head kick but it misses.

and Helgi makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Furious George is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Helgi connects with a nice looking jab.
Bjorn Helgi is winning the standup battle so far. Helgi lands a nice shot to the body.
George tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Helgi swivels and escapes. George takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Helgi throws a head kick but George moves out of range.

A slapping leg kick lands for Helgi.
George shoots in but no luck this time. George throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Helgi sees it coming and avoids it easily. A nice inside leg kick there by Helgi. That's going to slow George down. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! George ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Helgi moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Helgi throws a sloppy head kick and George moves out of range easily. George shoots for a takedown but Helgi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. George blocks the body kick.
George lands a nice looking body shot.
George fails with a takedown attempt from distance. George moves out of range of the body kick. George has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Helgi finds it's way round the side to connect with George's head. George's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Helgi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! George scrambles back to his feet. George fails with the takedown. Helgi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Helgi fakes the leg kick and cracks George in the body. George is breathing heavily. George misses with a straight left. George moves into range and connects with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle, before Helgi throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into George's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Helgi lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Bjorn Helgi! An out of breath Bjorn Helgi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
