Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Bariga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mehbrahtu Kidane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidane throws a head kick that misses
and Bariga counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Mehbrahtu Kidane has been cut.
Kidane tries a head kick but it misses.
Bariga will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kidane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kidane takes one to the side of the head.
Bariga uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kidane has eaten all the pies!
Kidane is looking to score with low kicks.
Bariga avoids the head kick by Kidane.
Bariga bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kidane's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kidane throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kidane walks straight into a right hand from Bariga - that's dropped him! Bariga jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kidane from any more punishment! Kidane complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Mark Bariga!
Our winner, Mark Bariga, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
