Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bam Blimm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyo Wuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bam Blimm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyo Wuan! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wuan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wuan lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Wuan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Blimm manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wuan has Blimm in his guard. Blimm wants to get up but he can't break Wuan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wuan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blimm can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Blimm has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wuan is proving hard to escape from. Blimm is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Montreal Elite Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wuan working for a triangle but Blimm defends it easily.
Wuan doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blimm is looking to stand up but Wuan won't let him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wuan wriggles free and stands up. Wuan fails with a takedown attempt. A head kick by Blimm misses and Wuan counters with a head kick. Wuan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blimm, pushing him back against the cage. Blimm is trying to force a seperation but Wuan has the dominant position. Wuan lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Bam Blimm has been cut. Wuan tries to land knees in the clinch but Blimm avoids the damage to the body. A body shot lands from Blimm.
Blimm tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Wuan throws an elbow that misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blimm avoids the elbow strike from Wuan, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wuan lands an elbow inside. Wuan throws an elbow but it misses.

Wuan told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Wuan looks to throw an elbow but misses. Wuan missing with knees to the body.
Wuan misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Blimm.
Wuan misses with an elbow strike.
Wuan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Blimm lands a good knee to the midsection. Wuan won't want to take too many of those. Wuan avoiding damage as Blimm throws knees to the body.
Wuan is working for takedown but Blimm is calmly controlling the position for now. Wuan managing to block the knees to the body from Blimm.
With the fighters up against the cage, Blimm throws an elbow but misses. Blimm blocks an elbow strike from Wuan.
Wuan lands a damaging elbow. Wuan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Blimm misses with an elbow over the top. Wuan pushes off an throws an elbow but Blimm leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Blimm can't find room to land a body shot as Wuan controls the action.
Blimm breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Blimm fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Wuan is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blimm misses with the combination.
Blimm connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Wuan to the floor! Blimm dives in looking for the finish!
Wuan is rocked!
It looks like Lyo Wuan has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blimm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wuan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Wuan is still in real trouble! Can Blimm finish him? Wuan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Blimm pulls his head out easily. Wuan seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Wuan is looking for a sweep. Blimm is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Blimm trying to control from half guard but Wuan is working away. Wuan actively working from the bottom here. Wuan is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blimm sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wuan tries to kick Blimm off but Blimm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wuan is looking to improve his position.
Blimm is looking to take a break and control but Wuan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bam Blimm. Blimm connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wuan. Wuan circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wuan showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blimm.
Blimm defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wuan. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lyo Wuan will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Blimm thows a body shot but no joy. Wuan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wuan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wuan landing some decent shots from guard. Blimm preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Blimm is looking to stand up but Wuan isn't so interested in that idea. Wuan works a leg free and moves into half guard. Wuan wants to free his trapped foot but Blimm is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wuan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Blimm has managed to free his arm - good work. This has been an exciting period of action! Wuan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Blimm!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wuan with the ground and pound from mount. Wuan is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blimm can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bam Blimm's cut is getting worse. Blimm is in a horrible position here. Wuan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Blimm's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Wuan looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wuan with shots to the head and body - Blimm looks very uncomfortable down there.
Blimm is rocked!
Bam Blimm's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bam Blimm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
