Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lauritz Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jensen comes to the cage accompanied by Limp Bizkit - My Way. Gracie has chosen Smoke Serpent Ft. Rakaa Iriscience - Jiu Jitsu as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lauritz Jensen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vitor Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Jensen shows good takedown defense.
Gracie has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Gracie there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jensen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gracie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jensen was covering up waiting for the punch and Gracie finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Jensen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jensen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gracie is aware though and is defending well.

Jensen is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Academia Ipanema that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jensen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie.

Jensen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gracie's shoulder. That is not cool.

Jensen has hold of Gracie's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gracie manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jensen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gracie to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gracie shrugs it off.

Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jensen's waist but Jensen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Jensen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown. Jensen tries to sprawl out of it but Gracie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jensen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jensen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Jensen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
