Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Derksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman has chosen Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On as his entrance music. Christian Derksen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Derksen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Cartman! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Derksen just misses with a punch to the body.
Cartman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Derksen rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cartman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Cartman is thwarting Derksen's attempts to control the position. Cartman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Derksen wants to improve his position but Cartman is controlling well.
Cartman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Derksen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Cartman throwing shots but Derksen is blocking nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cartman wants to take a breather but Derksen is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Cartman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Derksen's coaches at Disciples Top Team have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Cartman is looking to advance position but Derksen won't allow it. Derksen blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cartman. Derksen is looking to control Cartman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Derksen avoid being mounted? Cartman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Derksen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Derksen wants to control but Cartman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Cartman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Cartman tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Cartman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Cartman is thwarting Derksen's attempts to control the position. Cartman working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Derksen's thigh. Derksen counters though and makes it back to full guard. Cartman throws an elbow that misses. Derksen uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cartman's guard. Nice move by Derksen!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Derksen trying to control but Cartman is working from the bottom. Cartman wants to sweep but no luck. Cartman is looking to sweep but instead, Derksen has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cartman wants to control but Derksen is keeping busy and won't allow it. Derksen wants to pass the guard but Cartman is defending well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cartman is controlling Derksen's trapped leg to prevent Derksen from advancing to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Derksen throws a leg kick that is checked and Cartman counters with a shoot takedown. Derksen fights it but they end up in guard. Cartman passes into half guard. Cartman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Derksen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cartman. Cartman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cartman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Cartman stalling away here and it's allowed Derksen to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Cartman with a flurry of punches that miss. Cartman pushing down on Derksen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Cartman trying to control the action but Derksen is working from the bottom. Cartman landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Derksen is looking for a sweep. Cartman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cartman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Derksen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cartman works his way into side control. Derksen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cartman. Cartman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Cartman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cartman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Derksen tries to buck Cartman off but Cartman is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Derksen is trying to control Cartman's posture but Cartman avoids it. Derksen on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Derksen parries the strikes from Cartman easily there. Cartman is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Derksen to escape.
Derksen wants to control but Cartman postures up. Cartman throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Derksen is not content to let Cartman control the position. Derksen takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Derksen defending against the ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cartman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Derksen has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Cartman but great work by Derksen. Derksen wants to control but Cartman is keeping him busy. Cartman tries to bench press Derksen off him but Derksen keeps the position. Derksen tries to get to his feet but Cartman is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Derksen in his guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Derksen wants to stand but Cartman has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Cartman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action!
Derksen misses with a looping left. Derksen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Derksen throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Cartman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Derksen won't be happy with that. Cartman tries for a kimura but Derksen is defending well. Cartman working the ground and pound but Derksen is defending the strikes. Cartman throws a strike aimed at the side of Derksen's head but Derksen avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartman cracks Derksen with a big right hand but Derksen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cartman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Derksen is trying to get back to half guard. Cartman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Derksen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cartman wants to control but Derksen is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cartman misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Cartman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Derksen is looking to regain half guard here but Cartman keeps moving and retains side control. I wouldn't like to be where Derksen is right now. Derksen tries to bench press Cartman off him but Cartman keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cartman lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Cartman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Cartman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Derksen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cartman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Derksen takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cartman goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Derksen rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cartman's guard! Nice work there by Derksen! Cartman has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cartman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cartman trying to strike off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Derksen stopping the sweep attempt from Cartman. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Cartman holds on and takes a little breather. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Cartman really dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Derksen misses with a wild body shot. Derksen darts in and clinches Cartman up against the cage. Derksen misses with some punches.

With the fighters up against the cage, Derksen throws an elbow but misses. Derksen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cartman is defending well for now. Cartman blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Derksen prevents a body shot from Cartman. Derksen tries to land knees in the clinch but Cartman avoids the damage to the body. Derksen struggles to land a body shot inside as Cartman controls his hands.

Cartman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Derksen can't find room to land a body shot as Cartman controls the action.
Cartman lands an uppercut. Cartman prevents a body shot from Derksen. Derksen tries to work over Cartman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Cartman lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cartman breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Derksen tries to clinch up but Cartman circles away and keeps his distance. Derksen wants to clinch up but Cartman keeps it at a distance. Derksen tries to clinch but Cartman is having none of it. Derksen misses with a series of wild punches.
Derksen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cartman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cartman takes one to the chin there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Derksen misses with a hook. Cartman ducked under it nicely. A big right from Derksen misses. Derksen wants to clinch but Cartman slips to the side and Cartman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Derksen's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cartman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cartman tries to free his leg and advance position but Derksen is retaining full guard. Cartman is working Derksen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Eric Cartman has got the better of the ground game so far. Cartman wants to control from the top but Derksen keeps moving. Cartman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Cartman pushing down on Derksen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cartman with the ground and pound but Derksen uses the opportunity to regain guard. Cartman throws a big right hand that misses. Cartman looking to pass the guard. Cartman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Derksen. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Derksen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cartman works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Cartman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Derksen keeps working. Cartman misses with the ground and pound. Cartman is trying to get an arm triangle but Derksen is defending well. Derksen is looking to reverse the position. Eric Cartman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Derksen seems a little lost for a moment, as Cartman dominates the positioning. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
OK we're going to have a standup here. Eric Cartman hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Derksen jabs Cartman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Derksen throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Christian Derksen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Derksen throws a wild body kick that Cartman sees coming a mile off. Good exchange - Derksen coming out on top. Derksen moves in looking to clinch but Cartman pushes him off. Christian Derksen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Derksen fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cartman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Derksen gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. With the fighters up against the cage, Derksen throws an elbow but misses. Derksen lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cartman backwards. A short right from Cartman. Derksen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cartman lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Derksen fails to land. Cartman takes an elbow to the forehead.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Eric Cartman. I've got Cartman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
