Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Barriage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasputin Mekk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barriage's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix) by Prodigy. Mekk has chosen Boney M - Rasputin as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mekk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barriage manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Barriage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Barriage fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mekk, pushing him back against the cage.
Barriage tries to pull guard but Mekk forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Barriage wants a takedown but no success here.

Mekk breaks from the clinch.
Barriage stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barriage wants it to stay on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mekk.
Barriage dives in and grabs Mekk's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mekk pushes down on Barriage's head and hops out.
Mekk shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barriage pinned against the cage. Barriage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mekk decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barriage is not content to let Mekk control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barriage pushes Mekk off and gets back to his feet.

Mekk gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Barriage has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mekk avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Barriage postures up in Mekk's guard and throws a big left but Mekk blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Barriage chips away with some ground and pound.
Barriage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mekk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barriage has managed to get both his arms back between Mekk's legs - danger averted.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mekk can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that David Barriage will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Mekk is trying to stick to Barriage's back but Barriage is turning into Mekk. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mekk's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Barriage.

Rasputin Mekk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
