Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pete Schwetty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Status Quo- Deeper and Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pete Schwetty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Braden Turk!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schwetty connects with a body shot that sends Turk's belly button to the back.
Turk closes the distance and clinches.
Turk lands a nice uppercut.
Turk lands a body punch in the clinch.
Turk managing to block the knees to the body from Schwetty.
Schwetty misses with a body punch.
Schwetty lands a damaging elbow.
Schwetty can't break the clinch.
Turk has hold of one of Schwetty's legs. Schwetty is fighting the takedown attempt but Turk gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Turk is looking to work some ground and pound but Schwetty has wrist control.
Turk tries to free his leg and advance position but Schwetty is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schwetty managing to control the position.
Turk with a flurry of punches that miss.
Turk trying to control but Schwetty is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Schwetty utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Turk postures up in Schwetty's guard and throws a big left but Schwetty blocks it.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Turk working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Schwetty keeping moving, preventing Turk from controlling successfully.
Turk with a flurry of punches that miss.
Turk missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Turk advances to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Turk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Schwetty taking shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Turk is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Schwetty can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Turk throwing strikes here but Schwetty is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Turk throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Turk cracks Schwetty with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Turk lands a big shot there that rocks Schwetty but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Schwetty is in a horrible position here. Turk smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Turk thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Turk misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Turk wants to finish this one by submission but Schwetty is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Turk.
BOOM! Turk connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Turk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Schwetty is looking to escape.
Turk unloads with some shots from mount but Schwetty bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Turk lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Schwetty wants to hold on but Turk pushes him away.
Turk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turk punching from mount but Schwetty doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Turk throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Schwetty because Turk loaded up on that one.
Turk trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Turk lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Turk connects with a bit shot that sees Schwetty covering up! More strikes from Turk and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Turk is our winner by TKO!
