Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trout fails with the takedown
and Kaalikorva counters with a low kick, right behind Trout 's knee.
Trout wants to clinch.
Kaalikorva throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Trout's head.
Trout gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kaalikorva counters with a takedown into side control.
Trout is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kaalikorva asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Kaalikorva in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trout tries to buck Kaalikorva off but Kaalikorva is having none of it.
Kaalikorva cracks Trout with a big right hand but Trout just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kaalikorva lands an elbow.
Trout is rocked!
Kaalikorva has hold of Trout's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Trout tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kaalikorva cranks the arm and Trout screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Trout, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kauno Kaalikorva!
