Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Final Countdown. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Khan.
Smith has closed the distance and engaged Khan in a clinch.
Khan is working for takedown but Smith is calmly controlling the position for now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Khan takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Smith has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khan is working away from the top position though.
Smith is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Khan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Smith knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Smith is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Khan goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward.
Smith is trying to pull guard but Khan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Smith has a couple of punches blocked by Khan.

Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ali Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
