Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nadi Tsunami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nadi Tsunami has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nadi Tsunami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Masahiko Kimura!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura lands a nice hook to Tsunami's body. Tsunami takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Tsunami fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kimura to the ground. Tsunami is now in Kimura's guard.

Kimura working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tsunami has passed into half guard!
Tsunami has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kimura is looking for a sweep. Tsunami is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Tsunami tries to clinch there but Kimura circles away.
Tsunami fails to land with a series of punches.
Kimura swings for the body but Tsunami moves out of range.
Tsunami shoots in for a takedown but Kimura shows good takedown defense.
Kimura takes a swing at Tsunami's ribcage but misses.
Kimura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tsunami counters with a left and a right that stings Kimura.
Tsunami uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kimura.
Kimura uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tsunami.

Kimura misses with a wild combination.
Kimura connects with a right hand. Tsunami shakes it off.
Tsunami misses with a kick to the body.

Tsunami shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tsunami was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Kimura is looking for a sweep.
Tsunami throws a strike aimed at the side of Kimura's head but Kimura avoids it well.
Kimura sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Kimura is looking to improve his position.
Kimura moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Tsunami looking to pass the guard.

Tsunami is looking to stand up but Kimura won't let him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kimura looking to control.
Tsunami wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving.
Kimura is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tsunami doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kimura counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nadi Tsunami. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tsunami tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kimura paws at him with a jab and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kimura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tsunami ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kimura moves away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Masahiko Kimura will probably get the nod.

Tsunami feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kimuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tsunami cracks Kimura with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kimura shoots in for a takedown but Tsunami shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nadi Tsunami seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kimura just misses with a punch to the body.
Tsunami closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kimura circles away.
Kimura dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tsunami lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kimura has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kimura and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tsunami throws a head kick that misses.
A lazy left from Kimura finds it's target.
Kimura swats away the attempt to clinch by Tsunami.
Kimura lands with a nice body punch.

Kimura changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kimura stuffs the takedown attempt from Tsunami. Tsunami gets slowly back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Tsunami.

Kimura shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kimura was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kimura wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tsunami keeps working.

Kimura swings around for an armbar but Tsunami sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kimura's guard.

Kimura is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tsunami has control of Kimura's left arm, preventing Kimura from doing any damage.
Kimura stands and throws Tsunami's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tsunami is not content to let Kimura control the position.
Tsunami tries to buck Kimura off but Kimura is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Masahiko Kimura showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kimura has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tsunami will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tsunami shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kimura but Kimura pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tsunami is sitting in close to Kimura's body. Kimura has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tsunami is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tsunami is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kimura.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Masahiko Kimura!
Masahiko Kimura looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Hey you, get this piece of shit out of my cage, (Vlad is escorted out)... GEORGE, you got lucky in our last fight bro... you knew I had a shoulder injury going into that fight and congratulations you were a big enough scum bag to take advantage of it.. Wilson make the match!!'.
