Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Kelleher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Whinchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kelleher might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Successful. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Kelleher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Whinchester! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whinchester shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kelleher pinned against the cage. Kelleher gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Whinchester slips under a jab from Kelleher. Kelleher fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Whinchester. Whinchester looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sean Kelleher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Whinchester. Whinchester takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kelleher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kelleher working Whinchester over with strikes. Whinchester looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kelleher lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Whinchester looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Kelleher wants to pass the guard but Whinchester is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelleher thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Whinchester's head. Kelleher wants to free his trapped foot but Whinchester is holding on for dear life with his legs. Kelleher drops an elbow to the side of Whinchester's head. Kelleher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Kelleher takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kelleher trying to mount his opponent but Whinchester defends it. Kelleher landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kelleher working the head and body with strikes. Whinchester avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kelleher. Kelleher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Whinchester on the ground. Kelleher thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Whinchester blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kelleher. Whinchester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kelleher missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nice strikes from Kelleher there. Kelleher is looking to stall here but Whinchester recovers full guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kelleher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Whinchester works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kelleher has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kelleher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kelleher lands a couple of digs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kelleher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Whinchester keeping moving, preventing Kelleher from controlling successfully. Kelleher throwing strikes from guard but Whinchester blocks nicely. Kelleher wants to control from the top but Whinchester keeps moving. Kelleher works over Whinchester with some ground and pound from guard. Kelleher trying to control but Whinchester is working from the bottom. Kelleher tries to stand but Whinchester is controlling from the bottom. Kelleher postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kelleher works over Whinchester with some ground and pound from guard. Kelleher trying to control but Whinchester is working from the bottom. Kelleher stands up over Whinchester, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kelleher trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Whinchester had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kelleher is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Whinchester Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kelleher's back instead. Kelleher is trying to break free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sean Kelleher dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kelleher scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Dean Whinchester is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kelleher misses with a looping left. Whinchester doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kelleher counters with a single leg into guard. Whinchester didn't expect that. Kelleher missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kelleher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Whinchester is keeping the position for now. Kelleher content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kelleher scoring with punches to the head and body. Whinchester lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kelleher! Kelleher throwing hammer fists to the chest of Whinchester. What's that going to do exactly? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kelleher is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kelleher tries to hold on but Whinchester postures up. Kelleher looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Kelleher is trying to defend against the choke here but Whinchester has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Whinchester Tightens the hold and Kelleher taps out furiously! Whinchester displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dean Whinchester!
