Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Svend Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Moretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Svend Karlsson had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlsson slips a jab and a cross from Moretti.
Karlsson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moretti connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Karlsson's hands.
It looks like Svend Karlsson has been cut.
Moretti looks to land a left hand but Karlsson moved out of range nicely.
Karlsson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Moretti counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Karlsson is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moretti drops his shoulder and cracks Karlsson with a huge uppercut! Karlsson goes down! Can Moretti finish him?
Karlsson is rocked!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Moretti wants to get up but he can't break Karlsson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Karlsson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Moretti puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Moretti tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Karlsson.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karlsson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Moretti has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Moretti jabs Karlsson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sonny Moretti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moretti feints and then cracks Karlsson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Karlsson down.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Moretti does no damage.
Moretti catches Karlsson napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Karlsson to the canvas!
Moretti wants to stand but Karlsson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Moretti avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Moretti comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Moretti plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Karlsson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Karlsson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
