The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanimoto throws a sloppy head kick
and Johnson counters with a two punch combo.
Tanimoto throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Johnson.
Johnson avoids the head kick by Tanimoto.
Tanimoto wants to slow Johnson down by chopping away at his legs.
A jab lands there for Johnson.
Tanimoto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
Johnson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tanimoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanimoto tries for a takedown but Johnson circles away easily
and Johnson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Tanimoto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Johnson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Tanimoto gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Johnson counters with a left and a right... And another left! Tanimoto is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dustin Johnson!
After winning the bout, Dustin Johnson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
