These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Aziz throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.

Johnson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson fails to move to back control.
Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Al Aziz is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Al Aziz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Johnson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Al Aziz cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Al Aziz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Al Aziz.
Al Aziz throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
