Funaki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Julie's Theme" - Alan Silvestri. Sagawa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Herb Alpert - Oriental Eyes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Issei Sagawa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Sagawa loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Funaki scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sagawa land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sagawa stands and salutes the crowd.

Issei Sagawa decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
