Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jingles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eisenstein Priestley! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Priestley moves into the clinch. Priestley takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Eisenstein Priestley has been cut. Priestley gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Jimmy Jingles has been cut. Jingles with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Priestley wants to get back to striking at distance but Jingles won't allow it.
Jingles jumps into guard, dragging Priestley to the mat.
Jingles looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Priestley has picked Jingles up and slammed him! Jingles can't keep hold of the triangle and Priestley manages to pass to side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jingles looking for a sweep but Priestley has passed into full mount! Oh no! Jingles is desperately trying to improve his position but Priestley has a good base and remains in mount. Priestley avoids the attempt from Jingles to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Priestley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jingles is trying desperately to improve position. Jingles is breathing heavily. Jingles is working hard here to advance position. Priestley controlling the pace for now.

Eisenstein Priestley dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Priestley moves in looking to clinch but Jingles pushes him off. Priestley tries to clinch there but Jingles circles away.

Jimmy Jingles's cut is getting worse. Priestley is trying to break free. Priestley throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jingles blocks it with crossed arms. Jingles is trying to drag Priestley to the mat but Priestley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jingles takes an elbow to the temple. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Priestley scores a nice knee to the body.

Priestley lets loose with a powerful body kick. Jingles will feel that in the morning. Jingles takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Priestley moves into range and connects with a jab. Jingles circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jimmy Jingles's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Priestley creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jingles's defenses. Priestley scores with a knee to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Priestley scores a nice knee to the body.
Priestley is pushing Jingles up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Priestley breaks from the clinch.

Priestley tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Priestley tries to close the distance and clinch but Jingles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jingles drops his hands momentarily and Priestley takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Priestley scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Priestley throws a front kick that sends Jingles stumbling back into the cage. Priestley darts in and clinches Jingles up against the cage. Priestley lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Priestley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jingles closes the distance but Priestley moves to the side and Priestley counters with a nice body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Priestley controlling from the full mount. Jingles is wriggling around trying to escape.
