Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butt Kicker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Butt Kicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Roy Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson closes the distance and clinches up with Kicker, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes Kicker against the cage but Kicker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kicker tries to clinch up.
No luck for Nelson with that takedown attempt.
Nelson misses with a takedown attempt - Kicker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Butt Kicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Nelson.
Kicker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nelson defends it nicely.
Kicker gets caught flat footed, as Nelson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Kicker throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Nelson passes Kicker's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nelson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kicker is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roy Nelson!
