Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Ant!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ant misses with a takedown attempt

and Francisco counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Ant throws his legs up looking for a submission but Francisco uses it to pass to side control.
Ant tries to buck Francisco off but Francisco is having none of it.
Francisco wants to control but Ant is keeping him busy.

Francisco looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Ant is avoiding damage well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ant controls Francisco momentarily but Francisco frees himself.
Francisco throws a strike but Ant rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ant working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Francisco pulls Ant in close to his closed guard and prevents Ant from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Ant lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Ant manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Francisco on his heels. He'll look to pass Francisco's guard now, I'm sure.

Ant trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Francisco manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Ricardo Santiago Francisco overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ant is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Francisco defends well.

Ant bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Francisco's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Francisco is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Ant has his hands clasped together but Francisco extends and breaks Ant's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Francisco.
