Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy blocks a jab.
Hardy dives in and scores a takedown into Iori's guard.
Hardy working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Iori is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Hardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hardy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hardy lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hardy forces his way into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Iori is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hardy scores with a couple of nice shots.

Hardy is nestled in close to Iori, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Iori has hold of Hardy's hands but Hardy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Iori is rocked!
Hardy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Iori can do anything to dispel that myth.

After the fight, Vince Hardy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
