0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby Briggs! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinniburgh lets loose with a powerful body kick. Briggs will feel that in the morning. Briggs shoots in and bounces Kinniburgh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kinniburgh tries to land a sweep but no joy. Briggs looking to pass the guard. Briggs passes into half guard. Kinniburgh is not content to let Briggs control the position. Kinniburgh blocking the ground and pound attempt from Briggs. Ground and pound from Briggs. Briggs not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kinniburgh on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kinniburgh tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Briggs is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Kinniburgh is trying to control but can't.
Briggs controlling the action here. Briggs seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Briggs not landing any meaningful shots this time. Briggs controlling the action here. Kinniburgh is refusing to be controlled, as Briggs sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Briggs sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kinniburgh defending well though. Briggs is trying to control the action in half guard but Kinniburgh is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Briggs looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bobby Briggs was stalling too much, according to the referee. Kinniburgh ducks under a wild hook from Briggs. Briggs takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Briggs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kinniburgh avoids it really well and circles away. Briggs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kinniburgh is trying to defend but Briggs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Briggs passes to full mount! Briggs with good strikes from the mount here! Kinniburgh defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Briggs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Briggs with a couple of short strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Briggs is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Kinniburgh goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Briggs!
