Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sterling Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo has chosen rage against the machine,,cypress hill how i just kill a man as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archer shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ricardo gets back to full guard.
Ricardo looking for a guillotine here but Archer defends easily.
Archer wanted to stand there but Ricardo had control of the position.

I was talking to Archer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Ricardo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Archer.
Ricardo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ricardo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Archer eats them both and turns towards Ricardo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
