Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, William Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, PJ Harvey! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Harvey. We've been informed that Harvey has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Harvey is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wallace.
It looks like PJ Harvey has been cut. Harvey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Harvey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wallace shoots in looking for a takedown. Harvey tries to sprawl out of it but Wallace keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harvey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Harvey keeps Wallace at a distance using the push kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace throws a front kick aimed at Harvey's knee but Harvey avoids it well. Harvey scoring well with a low kick there.
Harvey scores with a head kick. Wallace tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Harvey dodges the punch combination from Wallace.
Harvey tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. PJ Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harvey goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Wallace looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Harvey lands with a slapping head kick.
Wallace is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Harvey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wallace. Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wallace throws a series of punches but Harvey moves out of range. A head kick by Harvey - that's a beauty! Wallace is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Harvey can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). PJ Harvey! An out of breath and clearly excited PJ Harvey thanked Fight Night Nutrition for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
