Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clinton Iii Solidum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kendrick Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clinton Iii Solidum! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solidum showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Williams.
Williams throws a head kick but Solidum moves out of range.
Williams manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Solidum on his heels. He'll look to pass Solidum's guard now, I'm sure. Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Williams working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Solidum pulls Williams in close to prevent any damage. Solidum can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Williams controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solidum has a closed guard, preventing Williams from standing up.
We're going to have a standup here because Kendrick Williams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Williams throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Solidum tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Williams is in Solidum's guard. Solidum trying to control the position.
Solidum keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Kendrick Williams has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Williams throws a head kick but Solidum moves out of range.
Williams tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Solidum paws at him with a jab and circles away. Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solidum seems a little lost for a moment, as Williams dominates the positioning. Solidum regains half guard there - taking advantage of Williams's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Solidum controlling the position well. Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Solidum keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kendrick Williams wasn't doing enough on the ground. Williams throws a chopping leg kick but Solidum manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Williams tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Solidum is able to avoid easily. Solidum tries to keep at a distance but Williams has taken the fight into the clinch. Williams tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Solidum avoids it. Solidum is trying to drag Williams to the mat but Williams just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kendrick Williams dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Williams lands a nice hook to Solidum's body. Solidum takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Solidum gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Williams to score an easy takedown into full guard. Williams wants to stand and escape but instead Solidum has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Williams is looking to stand up but Solidum isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solidum sitting in guard here, content to control. Solidum stopping the sweep attempt from Williams. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams working a defensive guard but Solidum manages to pass into side control anyway.
That's two minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Williams's face as Solidum controls the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Solidum is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Williams is trying to work for a sweep but Solidum has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solidum looking to control but Williams is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Williams tries to get back to half guard but can't. Solidum content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Solidum has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams tries to hold on but Solidum pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kendrick Williams will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Williams throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Solidum was covering up waiting for the punch and Williams finishes the takedown easily into guard. Williams stays in close to Solidum's body and controls the position. Solidum looking to control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Solidum keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams throws a head kick that misses. Williams scores with a takedown into Solidum's guard. Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Solidum has his hands on Williams's head, controlling the position. Solidum keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kendrick Williams. Williams has managed to clinch.
Williams decides to pull guard. Williams had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Solidum defends it easily. Williams tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solidum wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving. Solidum controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Clinton Iii Solidum wasn't active enough on the ground. Williams dives in and scores a takedown into Solidum's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solidum is trying to control the position but Williams postures up. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Solidum holds on and takes a little breather. Kendrick Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Williams doesn't manage to clinch there - Solidum circles away.
Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Solidum did well to prevent Williams getting side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams slows the pace down in half guard. Clinton Iii Solidum has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kendrick Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Solidum looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Kendrick Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well Williams has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
