Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jae Sang Yoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Nickoson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nickoson has chosen Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. Jae Sang Yoon is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nickoson stuffs the takedown attempt from Yoon. Yoon gets slowly back to his feet. Yoon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Nickoson counters with a thumping low kick. Yoon misses with a takedown attempt and Nickoson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jae Sang Yoon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yoon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yoon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nickoson sprawls well initially but Yoon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Yoon. Nickoson manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nickoson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nickoson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yoon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Yoon postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nickoson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoon is working Nickoson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Nickoson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Yoon looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Nickoson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Yoon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nickoson's waist but Nickoson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yoon off to one side. Yoon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nickoson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Yoon is in Nickoson's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nickoson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Nickoson trying to keep a closed guard but Yoon is proving a slippery customer.
Yoon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yoon with a nice head shot there. Nickoson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yoon is one step ahead there. Nickoson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Nickoson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yoon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yoon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nickoson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yoon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nickoson has his hands on Yoon's head, controlling the position. Nickoson working a defensive guard here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Yoon trying to control but Nickoson is working from the bottom. Yoon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Yoon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nickoson's guard. Nickoson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yoon pulls his head out easily. Nickoson is trying to get back to full guard. Yoon controlling the action here. Nickoson is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Nickoson tries to roll over but Yoon keeps him under control. Yoon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nickoson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Nickoson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nickoson. Yoon seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Yoon stands up over Nickoson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Yoon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yoon content to stall in guard here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jae Sang Yoon will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Horrible takedown by Yoon or perhaps it was just good defense by Nickoson which made him look bad. Yoon throws a chopping leg kick but Nickoson manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Yoon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Yoon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Nickoson is not content to let Yoon control the position. Nickoson is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nickoson keeps working. Nickoson looking for a sweep but Yoon has passed into full mount! Oh no! Nickoson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Nickoson tries to reverse the position but Yoon maintains control. Yoon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Yoon lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nickoson is trying to escape the mount.
Yoon unloading with bombs! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nickoson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nickoson wants to control but Yoon is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yoon lands with some strikes. Yoon looking to control and managing it successfully. Yoon trying to control but he's not successful this time. Yoon dominating with strikes here. Yoon scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nickoson?
Yoon lands a nice shot to the head. Yoon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Nickoson's face.

Nickoson is refusing to be controlled, as Yoon sits in half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jae Sang Yoon. Nickoson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yoon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Yoon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nickoson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nickoson wants to control but Yoon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nickoson is looking to improve his position.
Nickoson is still trying to improve position. Yoon is trying to control the action in half guard but Nickoson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Yoon drops an elbow to the side of Nickoson's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yoon missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Yoon is pressing down on Nickoson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nickoson is holding on for now. Yoon slips a nice elbow through Nickoson's hands, connecting with Nickoson's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jae Sang Yoon dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Nickoson tries to close the distance and clinch but Yoon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Yoon gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nickoson is trying to control Yoon's posture but Yoon avoids it. Nickoson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Yoon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Nickoson is not content to let Yoon control the position. Nickoson tries to bench press Yoon off him but Yoon keeps the position. Yoon working the ground and pound. Yoon takes a little break here. Nickoson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Yoon grinds an elbow into Nickoson's temple. Yoon lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nickoson down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nickoson looking for a sweep but Yoon has passed into full mount! Oh no! Nickoson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Yoon landing strikes, looking to finish! Yoon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Yoon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Nickoson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Nickoson is squirming around, avoiding Yoon's attempts to control the action. Yoon is really struggling to control Nickoson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Yoon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Yoon scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Nickoson?

Yoon landing punches. Bryan Nickoson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yoon raining down shots from the mount! Yoon looking to control but Nickoson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Yoon is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Nickoson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Yoon raining down hammerfists from mount. Yoon prevents Nickoson from getting the reversal. Yoon avoids the attempt from Nickoson to control. Yoon raining down shots from the mount! Nickoson tries to lock up and control but Yoon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nickoson slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Nickoson is looking for a sweep. Yoon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Nickoson is trying to control but Yoon manages to pass to mount!
Nickoson tries to hold on but Yoon pushes him away. Yoon lands a couple of good shots and Nickoson has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Yoon has the hooks in. Nickoson is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Nickoson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Yoon lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Good control from Yoon. Yoon keeps control of the position as Nickoson tries to break free.
I would not like to be Nickoson right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoon is punishing Nickoson with some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yoon scores with punches and elbows. Yoon lands strikes to the head. Jae Sang Yoon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Yoon controlling from the back. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that's the end of the fight! Jae Sang Yoon showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yoon, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
