The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dacoycoy looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yeerum is fending him off so far but Dacoycoy persists. Nope, Yeerum circles away and we're back to standing.
Yeerum scores with a head kick.
Dacoycoy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yeerum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dacoycoy somewhat.

Yeerum's coach down at Renegade Fighting Systems was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yeerum's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Dacoycoy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dacoycoy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yeerum tries to avoid it but Dacoycoy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yeerum to the ground. Yeerum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Dacoycoy shoots in looking for a takedown but Yeerum manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dacoycoy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
