Rauparaha Ii gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Dacoycoy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dacoycoy wants it to stay on the feet.

Rauparaha Ii feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rauparaha Ii drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dacoycoy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dacoycoy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dacoycoy!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rauparaha Ii is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dacoycoy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dacoycoy's back!
Rauparaha Ii working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Dacoycoy is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Rauparaha Ii has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Dacoycoy taps out!
