The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmeiro throws a lazy right hand but Malone sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Palmeiro swings for the body but Malone moves out of range.
Malone fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Malone looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Malone shoots in for a double leg but Palmeiro sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Roidger Palmeiro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Colby Malone.
Palmeiro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Palmeiro throws a jab but it's blocked by Malone.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Malone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
