The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepel scores with a leg kick.
Nikolaev blocks a leg kick.
Nikolaev throws a body punch but Shepel moves out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Nikolaev.
Nikolaev tests Shepel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nikolaev looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shepel backs away from a small jab... but Nikolaev lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Shepel crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Nikolaev with a spectacular finish!
