Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Bowie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Julian Diamond is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Bowie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Julian Diamond! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bowie thows a left - swing and a miss! Bowie keeps the fight on the outside. Diamond tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bowie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice defenses there by Diamond. Bowie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diamond on the side of the head. Diamond tries to clinch up and Diamond takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Diamond is looking to clinch. Diamond doesn't manage to clinch there - Bowie circles away.
Bowie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Diamond wants to clinch up but Bowie keeps it at a distance. James Bowie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diamond fails in his attempt to clinch. Diamond looks to land a combination but Bowie avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diamond tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bowie jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bowie misses with a wild combination.
Nice defenses there by Diamond. Diamond moves out of range of the strikes. Bowie connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Diamond clinches with his opponent.
Diamond fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bowie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Diamond breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bowie misses the jab. Diamond will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bowie thows a left - swing and a miss! Bowie throws a leg kick enabling Diamond to counter with a crisp jab. We've been told by Bowie's head coaches at Finn Warriors Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bowie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Diamond slips under a jab from Bowie. Bowie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Diamond tries to clinch but Bowie moves away enabling Bowie to counter with a crisp jab. Diamond fails in his attempt to clinch. Diamond takes a body punch but keeps moving. Diamond walks straight into a right hand from Bowie - that's dropped him! Bowie jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Diamond from any more punishment! Diamond complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
