Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Summit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raaaaaaaaaah Mukaaaah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raaaaaaaaaah Mukaaaah told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Summit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raaaaaaaaaah Mukaaaah! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Summit shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mukaaaah defends it nicely. Summit shoots in and drives through. Mukaaaah sprawls well. Horrible takedown by Summit or perhaps it was just good defense by Mukaaaah which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Summit. That's going to take a lot out of him. Summit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mukaaaah is fending him off so far but Summit persists. Nope, Mukaaaah circles away and we're back to standing. Summit throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mukaaaah sees it coming and avoids it easily. Summit darts in and clinches Mukaaaah up against the cage. Summit misses with the head strike.
Mukaaaah can't get the takedown.

Summit seems to be working for a kimura but Mukaaaah defends the submission attempt. Mukaaaah is trying to maintain the position but Summit is very close to passing his half guard. Summit stops Mukaaaah from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Summit tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mukaaaah knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mukaaaah wants to get back to his feet.
Summit is just content to waste time from the top position. Mukaaaah takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Summit looking to pass the guard. Mukaaaah pushes Summit off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Summit shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mukaaaah but Mukaaaah pushes him off and we're back to square one. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Summit. Summit shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Summit fails with the takedown. Summit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mukaaaah swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mukaaaah is looking for a triangle but Summit pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mukaaaah pulls Summit in close to prevent any damage. Summit might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Let's hope that Mukaaaah has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dan Summit just wasn't active enough. Mukaaaah keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Summit gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Summit misses with the combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Summit will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Summit is looking to clinch but Mukaaaah is avoiding it.
Summit clinches. Mukaaaah gets through Summit's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mukaaaah lands a nice uppercut. Mukaaaah prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mukaaaah jumps guard but Summit stands there with Mukaaaah around his waist. Mukaaaah gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Summit blocks a punch to the side of the head.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dan Summit. Well Summit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
