Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Comanche Todd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Stewart! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Todd connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Stewart is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Todd. A punch lands to the side of Stewart 's head but he takes it in his stride. Todd thows a left - swing and a miss! Todd pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Todd throws a nice looking combination but Stewart bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stewart changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stewart thuds a left hand into Todd's body. Todd throws a hook to the side of Stewart's head but Stewart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Todd missing with a left hand there. Stewart was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Todd swings and misses with a shot to the body and Stewart counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Todd keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Stewart counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Todd jabbing away but nothing is landing. Todd has been working on his boxing with his coaches at VERSE Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight. Stewart takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Stewart swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Stewart tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todd was well out of range. Poor timing from Stewart. Todd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stewart moves away. Stewart fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sloppy strikes from Stewart. Those never looked like landing. Todd fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stewart is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Todd rather than just go for the knockout. Stewart slips under a jab from Todd. Todd misses the shot to the body. Stewart takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Comanche Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Todd misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circling - Todd throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A telegraphed right hand from Todd misses the target. Stewart slips under a jab from Todd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Todd throws a big shot that misses. Todd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stewart uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Todd.
Todd lands a jab. Stewart misses with a straight right. Todd scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Todd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Todd there as he acknowledges the shot. A nice leg kick lands there from Stewart. Todd throws a series of punches but Stewart avoids them all with ease. Todd's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Todd duly obliges. Todd fails to land with a series of punches.
Todd stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Stewart. Todd comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stewart can pounce on him.

and Stewart counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Todd throws a nice looking combination but Stewart bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Stewart avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Todd ducks under a wild hook from Stewart. Todd misses with a wild combination.
Stewart fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stewart moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Todd digs a good hook to Stewart's body.

and Stewart counters with a straight right hand. Stewart jabs at Todd's body. Stewart thows a body shot but no joy. Todd looks to land a right hand but Stewart moved out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice leg kick lands there from Stewart. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Todd fails to land with a series of punches.
Todd tries to bum rush Stewart with a series of wild strikes but Stewart uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Todd swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stewart gets the takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. You can see the frustration on Todd's face as Stewart controls the position. Stewart throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Todd works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Stewart slips a nice elbow through Todd's hands, connecting with Todd's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Donald Stewart will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Todd takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Todd takes one to the chin there. Stewart tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stewart scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Todd thows a left - swing and a miss! Stewart ducks under a wild hook from Todd. Todd takes a swing at Stewart's ribcage but misses. Stewart looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Todd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Todd staying out of range there. Todd digs a good hook to Stewart's body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Todd drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Todd is rocked!
It looks like Comanche Todd has been cut. Stewart staying out of range there. Oh Todd is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice shot by Stewart. Todd keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Stewart. Nice uppercut there from Todd. A jab from Todd misses. Donald Stewart seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nice uppercut there from Todd. Todd connects with a right hand. Stewart shakes it off. Todd on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

enabling Stewart to counter with a crisp jab. Todd throws a right and a left that both miss. Todd avoids the body shot from Stewart.
Comanche Todd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Todd is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stewart. Nice defenses there by Stewart.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Stewart. Some bone on bone action there as Todd checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Stewart scores with a decent looking hook. Todd swings and misses with a shot to the body and Stewart counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Todd misses with a body shot

enabling Stewart to counter with a crisp jab. Todd throws a right and a left that Stewart avoids nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stewart misses with a looping right. Todd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stewarts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Todd uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stewart. Comanche Todd is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Todd tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stewart was well out of range. Poor timing from Todd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Todd walks into a left hand. Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stewart moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Todd misses with a hook.

and Stewart moves into the clinch. Stewart has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Todd avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Todd working hard to break the clinch. Stewart dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Stewart works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Todd is looking to sweep but instead, Stewart has passed into half guard.
Stewart scoring with strikes to the body and head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Todd has hold of Stewart's hands but Stewart slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stewart missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Stewart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Comanche Todd's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Stewart uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Todd has time to react. Stewart slips under a jab. Stewart shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Todd napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stewart misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Stewart looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Todd is avoiding damage well.
This has been an exciting period of action! Stewart wants to lay and pray for a moment but Todd keeps working. An elbow from Stewart crashes against the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Todd is not content to let Stewart control the position. Todd on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ground and pound from Stewart seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Stewart wants to control but Todd is keeping him busy. Donald Stewart is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Stewart. Stewart staying calm. Donald Stewart has got the better of the ground game so far. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Stewart fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart is looking to take a break and control but Todd is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Comanche Todd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stewart taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Donald Stewart hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Todd misses with a body shot.
Todd throws a right hand that Stewart ducks under and follows up with a left that Stewart also avoids with ease. Todd misses with a body shot.
Todd feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Stewarts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Stewart counters with a head kick. Stewart cracks Todd with a good jab. Todd loads up on a big right hand but Stewart slips the punch. Stewart moves away from the strike by Todd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stewart avoids the body shot from Todd.
Stewart connects with a good right hand that stumbles Todd. Todd circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Stewart closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Todd! Stewart dives in looking to finish! Todd is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
