Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ingmar Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Mduli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ingmar Scott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Richard Mduli! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Scott will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mduli looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Scott! Scott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The ground and pound from Mduli seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Scott prevents Mduli from improving position. Mduli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mduli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mduli postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mduli has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mduli controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mduli asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mduli throws an elbow but Scott slips to the side and avoids it well. Mduli taking a breather here. Scott is looking for a sweep. Scott is trying to get back to his feet. Mduli tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Scott tries to escape but Mduli is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mduli postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mduli wants to stand but Scott is controlling his arm. Scott stops Mduli from passing to mount. Scott is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mduli asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mduli is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Scott will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mduli wants to control but Scott is keeping him busy. Scott struggling a bit here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott wants to get back to his feet but Mduli drags him back down. Sloppy strikes there by Mduli. Mduli is looking to take a break and control but Scott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mduli wants to stand but Scott has his arm trapped.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mduli asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mduli tries to stand but Scott is controlling his head. Mduli remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scott is trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott wants to clinch up but Mduli keeps it at a distance. Scott tries to close the distance and clinch but Mduli swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Scott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mduli. Mduli fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mduli has Scott up against the cage in a clinch.

Mduli's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mduli misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mduli rushes Scott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mduli tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Scott looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Mduli has Scott pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Scott manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Scott tries to break free but Mduli pushes him back against the cage. Scott blocks a body shot from Mduli. Mduli misses with a punch on the inside.
Scott lands a right hand. Mduli is pushing Scott up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Mduli missing with knees to the body.

Both fighters working to control the clinch. Mduli jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Scott walks away with a smile on his face. Mduli gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ingmar Scott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Mduli. Scott has managed to clinch.

Scott bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mduli's head backwards. Scott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scott wants it to stay on the feet. Mduli takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Scott fails in his attempt to clinch. Scott wants to clinch. Scott tries to clinch up and Mduli holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Scott is defending well against a takedown attempt. Scott is trying to break the clinch but Mduli has him pressed against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ingmar Scott will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Scott creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Scott is looking to break free of the clinch but Mduli has double underhooks. Scott has Mduli pressed against the cage, preventing Mduli from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mduli changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Scott fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Mduli takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scott throws a right and a left that Mduli avoids nicely. Scott scores with a one two! Mduli had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Mduli avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Scott lands a body shot. Mduli tries to work over Scott's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Mduli is trying to pull guard but Scott turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. A body shot lands from Scott.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mduli keeps control of Scott as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Scott working hard to break the clinch. Mduli tries for a takedown but Scott manages to get underhooks.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mduli looking for a takedown. Mduli takes a shot to the head. Scott digs a right hand underneath Mduli's ribcage. Mduli let out a lung full of air as it connected. Scott has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Scott lands a body punch. Scott is trying to break the clinch but Mduli has him pressed against the cage. Scott stalling.
Scott pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Scott tries to clinch but Mduli moves out of range. Mduli fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mduli, pushing him back against the cage. Scott is trying to pull guard but Mduli has him pressed against the cage. A short body shot lands from Scott as the two fighters clinch.
Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
This has been an exciting period of action! Scott tries to clinch up. Scott tries to clinch up. Scott tries to clinch but Mduli is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Scott looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott throws a one two combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Ingmar Scott showed his dominance in that final round. I think Scott has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
