Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santino Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Santino Flores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Cannon! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cannon forces Flores back against the cage and clinches. Flores prevents a takedown attempt there.
Cannon is looking to control Flores's arms but Flores gets an underhook and turns him. Now Cannon has his back to the cage. Flores lands an uppercut. Flores is leaning against Cannon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Cannon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Flores to keep the fight standing. Cannon is trying to break the clinch but Flores has him pressed against the cage. Flores tries to work over Cannon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Flores doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

It looks like Tony Cannon has been cut. Flores scores with an uppercut up the middle. Flores lands a hook to the side of the head. Cannon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Flores's elbow. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Flores lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cannon backwards. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flores lands a right hand. Cannon goes for a takedown attempt but Flores pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Santino Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Cannon. Flores gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cannon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cannon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Flores tries to stand but Cannon is controlling from the bottom. Flores wants to control from the top but Cannon keeps moving.
We're going to have a standup here because Santino Flores wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cannon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Flores avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flores gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Flores pushes Cannon back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Cannon looks winded! Flores lands a right hand. Flores throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cannons head. Cannon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Cannon tries to break free but Flores pushes him back against the cage. Flores scores with a hook to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flores works on Cannon's body with a couple of short punches. Flores lands a body punch. Flores is struggling to control the position. Flores lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Flores gets through Cannon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Flores lands a right hand. Flores cracks Cannon with a nice body shot. Flores lands a body punch in the clinch. Flores works on Cannon's body with a couple of short punches. Flores lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Flores lands a nice shot to the body. Flores scores with a shot to the side of Cannon's head. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Flores creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short right from Flores.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Flores lands a right hand.
Cannon is rocked! Flores lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Cannon is still on wobbly legs! Can Flores finish him? Flores creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Cannon with a big uppercut! Cannon tries to clinch up but Flores pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Cannon to the mat! Cannon covers up and Flores unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Santino Flores!
