0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Junir DosSantos! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. DosSantos gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Williams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. DosSantos comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. DosSantos pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. DosSantos is trying to maintain a safe position but Williams gets an underhook and turns DosSantos into the cage. Williams turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Williams manages to end up in side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. DosSantos tries to buck Williams off but Williams is having none of it. Williams lands a decent elbow from side control. Williams has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Williams will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! DosSantos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. DosSantos tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DosSantos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. DosSantos throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Williams just misses with a punch to the body.
